Skills

Looking for people with patience and special skills, that are willing to teach to our residents for 1 -2 hours per week. This could be crafts, crochet or knitting, maybe a woodworking skill or model kit. This could be a painting or drawing class, or even something with computers or Yoga. Your skills can help those who have limited.

Work Location

This is on site at our group home in which they live in Sonora. You would have to bring the items you wish to teach. Some crafts are already here.

Purpose of Position

To enhance and enrich the lives of those who live in a group environment. Giving hands on experience and direction to those wanting to learn new experiences.

Qualifications

Having worked with Special Education or with intellectually challenged adults a plus but not mandatory.
Fingerprint, DOJ department of Justice background checks and clearance.

Commitment Expected

We would like a class to last 4 to 6 weeks done on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon on a specific projects.
